Carrier Japan announces its participation in Interop Tokyo 2025, June 11-13, at Makuhari Messe, Chiba Prefecture. Carrier Japan will spotlight global data center strategies and cooling solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the local Japanese market.
Carrier is addressing the increasing demands of the data center market with innovative solutions that optimize costs, energy usage, and operational uptime. In Japan, where the data center sector is experiencing remarkable growth, Carrier is playing an active role by offering its advanced Universal Smart X (USX)™ modular chiller series, which has garnered considerable acclaim in Japanese data Centers for its exceptional energy efficiency and adaptability. The USX series and the Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chiller AquaEdge 19DVTM, launched in the market in May 2024, are renowned for their innovative technologies and ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant and will be featured at this event. Carrier Japan will also showcase the Carrier Air-Cooled Screw Chiller AquaForce 30XFTM, a globally deployed product that is scheduled for introduction to the Japanese market. This next-generation chiller, employing an ultra-low GWP refrigerant, incorporates free cooling to improve energy efficiency during the winter season and features an ultra-fast recovery system that can resume 100% of cooling output within 120 seconds of power being restored in the event of a power outage. These capabilities are designed to ensure uninterrupted and reliable data center operations. In addition to these flagship products, videos and panel showcases airside solutions such as cooling distribution units (CDUs) and air handling units (AHUs), further demonstrating its ability to provide end-to-end cooling infrastructure for data centers.
One of the key highlights of the exhibition will be a seminar hosted by Hideki Tanno, Senior Manager of Sales Engineering at Carrier Japan to speak on “Carrier’s Data Center Strategies in the Asian Market,” on June 12. Tanno will discuss the advantages of the USX series and 19DV centrifugal chillers currently available in Japan and provide an in-depth look at the upcoming 30XF model. The seminar will also offer attendees valuable insights into the future of data center cooling, new technologies shaping the industry and future outlook for the Japanese market.
