What do you think about HVAC industry post pandemic and what prospects do you see for ventilation market scenario in India with removal of most Covid restrictions?

The Covid-19 outbreak in 2020 has caused serious damage to our country, putting all of us in a bind and impacting businesses immensely. The pandemic has led to increased uncertainty. We are all navigating unchartered territory as the pandemic takes us all in a downward spiral. Volatility and ambiguity in the market have created negative business sentiments. But 2021 is showing signs of positivity as the businesses are slowly witnessing a movement in the market. We are extremely optimistic that all commercial, residential, retail and governmental projects will steadily gain momentum, creating a great positive impact on HVAC market as a whole.

Could you brief about range of products manufactured by the company to meet various ventilation needs of desired spaces?

We initiated our business operation in 1973 and have been leaders in the manufacturing of Ventilation & Air Distribution Products for more than four decades now.

We offer an array of products for applications like Basement Car Park Ventilation, Staircase & Lift well Pressurisation, Commercial / Residential Fresh Air & Exhaust Application, Kitchen Exhaust Systems, Fire & Smoke Control Dampers, Air Distribution System: Grilles, Diffusers, Dampers, Louvers etc.

In changed scenario, workers in office buildings and industrial facilities, schools, and the like – which products would you suggest for indoor environments to tune with outdoors, for better ventilation?

We recommend energy efficient, low noise ventilation solution like centrifugal fans and plug fans. The efficiency of these fans is very high and all the fans are EN, CE, AMCA certified.

Poor air quality can negatively impact a person’s physical health and ventilation is now the top priority for risk assessments. What measures you ensure for proper ventilation in the building’s projects effectively?

Yes, poor ventilation can certainly impact a person’s physical health to a great extent. Few important factors that have to be considered while designing proper ventilation are: always hiring professionals, selecting appropriately sized ventilation unit, providing an option of automatic functioning, location of ventilation unit, ventilation ductwork, location of outdoor air duct and air circulation inside the building space etc.

Could you briefly highlight about some prominent projects undertaken using your products and what challenges you had to overcome?

Few prominent projects carried out by us are Statue of Unity, Vadodara, Nagpur Metro, Lucknow Sachivalya, IKEA Hyderabad, Chennai International Airport, Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala, to just name a few. Every big project comes with a set of challenges and with a dedicated and committed team; we have overcome all challenges and have always come out on the top. Do the following of standards and certifications have influenced your position in the market share for products nationally as well as globally with regard to strategy you follow?

Quality remains the topmost priority for us. In addition to being ISO 9000 certified, we are pioneers in introducing global certification in India. We are the only Indian company which is UL listed, EN certified and have received AMCA and CE certifications for our products. These certifications not only help us in establishing ourselves as leaders in Indian Industrial Ventilation fan segment, but also make us a highly trustworthy organisation.

In present times, the air quality concerns are driving growth for ventilation products as enough attention is focused on the air we breathe. What innovative production solutions do you have countering pandemic affected environment in almost all locations?

We are aware that the current times demand a lot more from us and expectations are quite high in terms of offerings as a manufacturer. To cater to ever changing demand, we are experimenting with our Inline fans with UV lights and various types of filtrations to cater to the present problem of Covid. A lot of research and development work is going on around the same. Also, sometimes customer requires variable load. Our fans provide wide range of air flow along with variable speeds and air fluctuations at low static pressure. We have the best filtration efficiency fans and we have one of the best testing facilities at our premises.

What opportunities do you foresee in company’s manufacturing facility to integrate the innovative technology into products because of virus affected air quality?

Ever changing dynamics at the market place always creates a lot of opportunities for seekers. Last one and half years have been tough for all of us but we still managed to sail through the tough times. We have a two-acre manufacturing hub at Greater Noida and a five-acre manufacturing hub at KosiKalan equipped with computerised, latest technology automatic machines, R & D and testing centres with ultra-modern machines. As mentioned earlier we are working on UV lights and various filtrations along with our fans so that we are able to make the air totally virus free.

Do you expect a rise in export turnover during the unlock phase for air Ventilation and Air Terminal Products? Which locations do your products command major installation and acceptance?

Yes, definitely. During this unlock, along with domestic, we are witnessing a steady increase in the inflow of international enquiries as well. We have been regularly exporting to countries like USA, African countries, SAARC countries in the past. We have a very good distributor presence, both nationally and internationally. In the near future, you will most likely witness more action here as we would like to compete globally and offer best quality products to global customers.

Are you devising new strategy and planning for the next three years as air exchange quality concern is a necessity at locations everywhere?

Air is the most essential human need; it helps us stay alive. As leaders in ventilation industry, we feel we have the responsibility to constantly work with our sleeves rolled up on various fronts to be aggressive and contribute as active stakeholders.
