Indian cold chain is one of the fastest-growing industries across the world. This is especially due to the changing consumption pattern, overall improvement of the quality standards and increase in exporting the local produce to developed countries.

India’s cold chain sector is poised to grow at a CAGR of 14 percent by 2026; and the government of India has been taking various initiatives to support the sector and is aiming at developing modern infrastructure with efficient supply chain management starting from farm gate to retail outlet.

On this note, TCBU hosted a live interactive session on “Integrated Cold Chain Logistics: Prospects.” on 02nd June. In this session, we widely discussed the opportunities and challenges in India’s cold chain sector. We also discussed the new dimension being developed to propel India’s capacity to create integrated warehousing and logistics for the cold chain sector.
