Thermal control technologies for public spaces | Thermal Control Business Update | HVAC Forum

Increasing use of electrical devices, demand for thermal management solutions and systems in different end-use industries such as healthcare, automotive, servers and data centers, aerospace & defense is leading to the growth of the thermal management market. The global thermal management market is estimated to be USD 12.8 billion by 2025 from USD 8.8 billion in 2020, at a CAGR of 8.2%.

The growth of the thermal management market is fueled by rising demand for thermal management solutions and systems for use in consumer electronics, increasing use of electronic devices in different end-use industries, and ongoing electronic miniaturizing. The usage involves manufacturing of optimized cooling systems to reduce their power consumption, weight, and cost. Department of Science & Technology have designed and developed thermoelectric modules using lead telluride (PbTe) and magnesium stannite silicide (Mg2Si1-xSnx) compounds as per communiqué by Union Science and Technology Ministry.

On this note, Thermal Control Business Update HVAC Forum hosted a round table conference on ‘Thermal control technologies for public spaces’ on 7th October 2021 at 4.00 PM (IST).
