Thermax reinforces its water purification capabilities

Thermax strengthens its water purification capabilities with the acquisition of TSA Process Equipment. It will offer a one-stop solution for the high-purity water requirements of its customers in sectors such as pharma, biopharma, personal care, and food & beverages.

Thermax Group, a prominent energy and environmental solutions provider, has entered into an agreement to purchase a 51 percent stake in TSA Process Equipments. This strategic move enhances Thermax’s portfolio, allowing the company to provide comprehensive solutions for high-purity water needs in industries like pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, personal care, and food & beverages.

The acquisition is set to be finalised in the coming period, with Thermax acquiring the remaining stake in TSA Process Equipments over the next two years as per the definitive agreements. Ltd., with HQ in Mumbai, has over 500 installations across the globe, including manufacturing facilities in western India that cater to major pharma and personal care companies.
