ACREX, South Asia’s largest exhibition dedicated to Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, and Intelligent Buildings, with the theme “Powering Global HVAC Supply Chain,” will highlight the expansion of India’s HVAC manufacturing sector, which is expected to reach USD 21.5 billion (INR 1,78,000 crores) by 2028.

The 23rd edition of ACREX India, organised by the respected association, Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), in collaboration with Informa Markets in India, India’s leading B2B event organiser, will take place from February 15th to 17th, 2024, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. This event, South Asia’s largest exhibition dedicated to Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, and Intelligent Buildings, with the theme “Powering Global HVAC Supply Chain,” will focus on the growth of India’s HVAC manufacturing sector, which is expected to reach USD 21.5 billion (INR 1,78,000 crores) by 2028.

ACREX India 2024 provides a valuable platform for domestic and international manufacturers to connect with government officials, industry stalwarts, end users, and many more, helping them achieve their business objectives. The expo, featuring over 500+ exhibitors from 40 countries, will welcome 250,000 trade visitors over a 3-day event. Leading industry leaders will provide an overview of global HVAC trends.

Sushil Choudhury, Chairman of ACREX India 2024, highlighted ACREX India as the forefront of India’s HVAC narrative, integrating Decarbonisation, Technology Enablement, Innovation, and supply chain integration. ISHRAE’s visionary pursuit of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning for the Indian HVAC industry, the ACREX India Expo shoulders the responsibility of spotlighting India’s stature as a global manufacturing hub, resonating with the essence of ‘Make in India’. The industry has also served as an example of India’s resilience and turnaround story in the post pandemic era. In 2023, air conditioners operating in India consumed around 190 TWH of electricity (more than 10 percent of national total), which is projected to reach 600 TWH by 2038. The increasing number of residential buildings in India’s tier 1, 2, and 3 cities has led to the air-conditioner becoming a necessity rather than a luxury item.

ACREX showcases India’s global strategic manufacturing competence, aligning with Prime Minister Atmanirbharta’s vision. Don’t miss this crucial demonstration of the HVAC industry’s limitless potential.

ACREX India’s grand edition in Delhi-NCR region aims to boost professional collaboration and businesses by showcasing global materials, equipment, technologies, and industry innovations. The show is amply supported by both domestic and international associations such as the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trades Association (RATA), the All India Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association (ACRA), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR), Assocham India, the Indian Plumbing Association, the India Green Building Council (IGBC), and FSAI, among others. This will help to bridge the gap between suppliers and buyers.

Speaking on the announcement of ACREX India, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets India said, “The growth of India’s HVAC market is a testament to the dynamic interplay of urbanisation, improved standards of living, climate change, and strategic government initiatives promoting energy efficiency and sustainability.
